God is a Lesbian, and a Gay
Unfortunately many of us are aware of discrimination and the injustice that exists in our society. This injustice and discrimination may even make some people want to respond in a violent manor in order to get their point across. While others may seek more of a peaceful means to get the justice they deserve. What if the tables were turned and everything that most of us thought was actually not true? What if the reality was as simple as God is a Lesbian, and a gay? How would the world respond to that statement?
In God’s teachings we are taught that we should not discriminate against each other. Yet there are several people throughout the world that believe in God and do not remember what God has taught us. Many people have been discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, and sexual orientation. This discrimination has gone on since the beginning of time. This is something that we as a society and throughout the world need to improve upon.
When it comes to Christianity it is said that God created all of of us in his image. If this is true then God is a Lesbian, and a Gay. No matter what it is that God has created in this world whether it is a tulip, a chrysanthemum, or a rose it was created in God’s image. As a Buddhist I believe that all creation comes from God’s image and how God reflects on those images. The flower is a representation of God and God is indeed a flower. Therefore God is a Lesbian and also a Gay.
To a white person they may believe that their God is white. As a black person may believe that their God is black. If God is not a reflection of the person that believes in God the believer will not believe. That person will lose interests and will not be interested in believing in God. A person must feel a connection with God and is right in believing that God is the same as them. Therefore God can be a lesbian, a gay person, a flower, a white person, a black person, and anything else that a person feels God should be.
With this belief it goes back to the basic teachings that God taught us not to discriminate against each other. We are all made in God’s image. This belief stops every bit of discrimination and suffering out there. It makes all of us aware that we are made in God’s image. This also makes us aware that no matter what someone is they are accepted for what they are. Just as a flower is accepted for being a flower.
For those who have suffered from discrimination they can begin to look deep inside themselves. They can now realize that they were created in God’s image. They no longer have to feel ashamed or feel that they should suffer for what they are. They can also realize that I feel that God has created all of us in his image and I completely accept everyone in the image of God. Unfortunately those who discriminate against others are purely ignorant and have not learned the teachings of God. This will help you accept them for who they are and realize that they just do not know any better. At this point you can began to ask God to forgive them for not knowing any better and help God guide them to see the truth. While also looking deep inside yourself you can ask God to forgive those who have caused others to suffer. This may indeed awaken them with God’s guidance and they may also come to terms that God is a Lesbian, and a Gay.
